Katriel Recepcion is an illustrator and educator based in Chicago, IL. From the DMV, Katriel relocated in 2021 to study at the School of the Art Institute Chicago (SAIC) where she studied architecture. Her professional experience at the Chicago Children’s Museum fostered her interest in teaching artistry and art education. Katriel enjoys sharing her creations and engaging with children as an art teacher for different Chicago Public School programs. You can view Katriel’s work in the Chicago Fine Art Salon’s gallery titled Figures. Katriel also participated in the Chicago Art Department’s Holiday Market where they sold designed shirts, prints, and illustrated live portraits. She continues to seek out artistic opportunities and communities in which she can share her work.
